How Much Do I Need?

Measure only the usable floor area where the heating film will be installed.

• Heavy furniture without adequate floor clearance

Important Installation Information

This is an electrical heating component and not a plug-and-play finished appliance.

• Installation must comply with local electrical and building regulations.

• Final electrical connections must be completed or inspected by a qualified electrician.

• A compatible thermostat and floor-temperature sensor must be used.

• Only cut the film at the manufacturer-approved cutting positions.

• Never cut through an active heating section or copper conductor.

• Do not overlap, fold, crease, puncture or cover the heating film with materials that could trap heat.

• Do not install beneath fixed furniture or permanent fixtures.

• Keep all electrical connections properly sealed and insulated.

• Test the film before installation, after connection and again before the finished floor is installed.

• Follow the supplied installation instructions and the floor manufacturer’s temperature limits.

Although the film has a waterproof construction, this does not make every assembled installation suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor locations. Suitability depends on the complete system, connection sealing and local regulations.

Do not assume that the film’s waterproof construction makes a complete installation suitable for wet rooms. Bathroom installation depends on local electrical regulations, approved system components, electrical zones and professional installation.

The film layout may be prepared by a competent installer following the instructions. All electrical connections must comply with local regulations and should be completed or inspected by a qualified electrician.
